Welcome to the Autumn Moonlight Event Website!
We would like to invite you to take part in our 4th annual fundraising cocktail party, Autumn Moonlight benefiting the University of Miami – Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UM-NSU CARD). We have made some exciting changes to this year’s Autumn Moonlight. Breaking with tradition, Autumn Moonlight will be on Friday November 18, 2011. We are deeply grateful to have Specialty Automotive Treatments hosting the event at their beautiful showroom at 700 W. Sunrise Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33311. Continuing with the exciting changes, we will be wearing Jeans & Jewels and enjoying amazing hors d’oeuvres donated by East City Grill, wine donated by Las Olas Wine Cafe and delicious desserts donated by Udder Sweets. Local 10’s Sports Director Will Manso will emcee the event as we dance to great music by a DJ 1 Tre (Michael Marino). We will also be having cocktails and a fabulous silent and live auction featuring an exquisite Corum Watch donated by Levinson Jewelers. Our media partner, Think Magazine, will be showcasing the event. This year’s honorees are Miami Dolphins General Manager, Jeff and Rachel Ireland and Senator Nan Rich. A special thank you to our friends at Kip Hunter Marketing for donating their time to help make Autumn Moonlight 2011 another successful event!.
Because of our generous host and donors, 100% of the money raised at Autumn Moonlight will be used to provide direct services to the families in Broward County. UM-NSU CARD provides outreach services, organizes autism sensitive community picnics, concerts, surfing clinics, teen groups, and job skill groups just to name a few programs that happen throughout the year.
With your help, UM-NSU CARD will continue to be able to help families with children recently diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder and continue to help the children and families throughout their lives at NO COST to them.
